ACCESSIBILITY GUIDE

Know the route,
not just the destination.

Parking, surfaces, grades, restrooms, viewing and river access can determine whether a place is genuinely usable.

WHAT IS PLANNED

The expansion is still changing the answer.

The Town’s published final plan includes expanded parking, changing rooms and restrooms, an overlook pavilion, spectator space and a new river-access ramp. Construction is underway, with project closeout currently targeted for July 2027. Planned amenities are not the same thing as amenities available today.

Help make this specific.

If you encounter a barrier—or find a route that works well—tell Wave Yard what happened. Include the date, starting point, surface, slope or obstacle, approximate distance and whether a companion could use the same route. Firsthand details are more useful than a generic accessibility icon.
